ChFC Announcement

We are excited to share with our readers that Aaron Everdyke has earned his Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation from The American College of Financial Services.

Candidates for the ChFC® designation must complete eight rigorous courses detailing the ins and outs of personal financial planning and are required to pass a series of proctored exams along with a comprehensive case analysis. The average study time to complete this task is in excess of 400 hours! In addition to this they must also have three years of experience, meet stringent ethics requirements, and participate in The College’s continuing education program.

The ChFC® curricula is very similar to that of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification but with an additional focus on real life planning scenarios such as estate planning, planning for special needs families, small business planning and behavioral finance.

The American College is the nation’s largest non-profit educational institution devoted to financial services. Holding the highest level of academic accreditation, The College has served as a valued business partner to banks, brokerage firms, insurance companies and others for over 92 years. The American College’s faculty represents some of the financial service industry’s foremost thought leaders.

We are very excited for the additional expertise Aaron gained through the ChFC®; coupled with Mike’s RICP® and Wes’ CFP® we believe we have the industry knowledge and expertise to help with almost any planning need that might arise.

Please join us in congratulating Aaron on his accomplishment and don’t hesitate to take advantage of his new knowledge with any questions you have.
